Jennifer Murnane, Ph.D, is the Associate Vice President of Strategic Initiatives for Bellevue University and Senior Research Associate for Bellevue University’s Human Capital Lab.
Murnane speaks and writes extensively on the topic of knowledge management and the strategic use of tuition assistance.
She brings extensive business and education experience to her roles at Bellevue University. As Associate Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, Murnane cultivates and manages Bellevue University’s visionary corporate clients who recognize the integral role learning has in reaching business objectives.
Murnane served as the inaugural Assistant Director for Bellevue University’s Human Capital Lab. In this role, she worked directly with Fortune 500 companies, such as Chrysler, US Bank, Sun Microsystems and Mutual of Omaha, helping to determine the value and ROI of their learning programs.
Murnane continues to conduct research with the Human Capital Lab, focusing primarily on non-profit organization leadership.
Previously, Murnane was a director for a Fortune 1000 company and a licensed investment adviser. She has also held collegiate-level teaching positions.
An alumni member of Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honorary, Murnane also is a member of the American Association of University Professors. She was recently inducted into the Kappa Omicron Nu, a prestigious honor society for researchers and leaders in the human services field.
She earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and her Ph.D. from Iowa State University.
