Kate Perry Jones is the Vice President of Human Resources for Global IT and HR Transformation at Stanley Black and Decker. For 15 years, Kate has amassed a breadth of leadership experience in nearly every aspect of Human Resources from her time at Johnson & Johnson, Chevron Corporation and Stanley Black & Decker. Kate was part of the Chevron Human Resource Leadership Development program from 2006-2008, which gave her the opportunity to rotate through several HR roles and work aboard in South Africa. She joined Stanley Black & Decker in 2011 as the HR Manager for DEWALT. Kate’s role as HR Vice President Talent Development, Diversity and Inclusion and Global Systems at the Global Tools and Storage (GTS) division of Stanley Black & Decker allowed her to champion global training and development, executive coaching, diversity and inclusion, US compensation and global human resources information systems (HRIS) across Global Tools & Storage. Kate is a certified Sherpa Executive Coach, a Senior Professional in Human Resources, Certified 360 Coach and an Eagle Award Excellence Winner. She is also a founding sponsor of GTS Diversity + Inclusion Board. Kate has a passion for coaching and successfully launched the GTS Women’s Leadership Program in 2015 based on the Sherpa Coaching methodology. Kate focuses her team on partnering with the Stanley Black and Decker Businesses to deliver talent needed to drive business results. Kate is the mother of 2 daughters, Leela and Mallorie and 1 son Wesley. Kate is married to her husband Darrell and lives in Baltimore Maryland. She is a native of New Jersey and a Rutgers University alum. She has lived in 4 states and 2 countries throughout her 15-year career in Human Resources.
