Pavan has over 15 years of experience as an entrepreneur, innovator and executive in the software and technology industry. Certree was formulated through Ubertal, a technology innovation company that Pavan co-founded and was the CEO of since 2011. During her tenure, she acquired customers including Apple, Intel, Tesla, Verizon, Visa, Gilead among many others where she helped formulate, develop and deploy custom solutions in areas such as AI Operations, High Speed Data Distribution, Asset Tracking and several others. Prior to Ubertal, Pavan held leadership positions at a number of global technology consulting services firms, including VanceInfo (now Pactera), Infosys, Accenture and Deloitte Consulting. As Senior Principal, Innovative Solutions at Infosys Consulting, Pavan pioneered the integration of Infosys's BPO, Technologies and Consulting services into a unified offering for Cisco and several other high tech customers. At Valdero, a Kleiner Perkins-funded supply chain startup, Pavan was vital to both product development and client acquisition.
Pavan is a board member at Ubertal Foundation whose mission is to increase the number of women who obtain and thrive in technology leadership positions. She is also a member of YPO in San Francisco and board member of Akhand Jyoti, an organization dedicated to eradicating blindness in rural India. Pavan founded the Dallas-Fort Worth chapter of TIE (The Indus Entrepreneurs) as well as Grapevine, a startup forum. She was also a Board Member at Indus Women Leaders.
Pavan holds a B.S in Computer Science Engineering, minor in Bioengineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she was honored as a Knight of St. Pat, one of the highest honors given by the College of Engineering to a handful of students who represent leadership, excellence in character, and exceptional contribution to the College of Engineering and its students.
