How easy is it for your sales reps to access and learn from your training videos? Following a 2018 discovery, we recognized most of our sales reps were requesting and utilizing video content on a regular basis, but we did not have a GOOD HOME for the training videos we were creating. The LMS we use is great for online classes, but not necessarily for video. In a world of Netflix, YouTube and Social Media – the user experience of “click & watch” is so important for utilization and retention, so we decided to partner externally to create our own Stanley Black & Decker University Video Hub. I will take you through the details of SBD sales training program, and then our strategic plan, build and successful implementation of our new Training Video Platform.
