Richard L. Nuffer Richard Nuffer grew up in Oregon and still loves the out-of-doors. Whether hiking, running, or going for a drive in his convertible he loves the sights and smells of nature. Once he got over his fear of public speaking, he learned to love teaching and facilitating. He truly loves and believes in training and education. He has over 30 years’ experience to include public education and government education and training. He received both a bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s degree in public administration from Brigham Young University. He has served in two Agencies in the Department of Defense providing training for tens of thousands of employees. He initiated world-wide video teleconference training at the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). He also established e-learning and webinars at DLA and has served on several committees to include the DoD team that established protocols for computer delivered education. He currently serves as the Chief Learning Officer for the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA). He has increased students impacted several times over while decreasing costs as much as 60%. Mr. Nuffer has also established leadership training cradle to grave for all employees from the warehouse workers and cashiers to the executives. Whether providing leadership training, technical training, or mandatory training, Mr. Nuffer is always looking for the best way to use education and training help meet organizational goals and assist employees in performance of their specific job tasks. Oh, and he also makes it fun!
