Sony Das is the Director of Learning and Development at Lionsgate Entertainment with over 7 years of experience within the Learning and Talent Development space. Sony is passionate about helping organizations and their employees realize their full potential. She does this by assessing skills gaps, designing and testing learning content, promoting and facilitating workshops, and coaching leaders. Her areas of responsibility at Lionsgate include: leadership development, intact team development, mentoring programs, coaching, and training. When Sony isn’t working on her L&D initiatives, she enjoys partnering with her HR colleagues on broader organizational initiatives. Some notable projects include: facilitating the development of the company’s mission and values and developing an unconscious bias activity to train hiring managers. Sony earned her BA in Psychology from New York University and her MA in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University. Outside of work, Sony enjoys a good TV binge but can also be found exploring her neighborhood with her husband and dog.
