contributes design and product development expertise to improve the experience
of people in the talent lifecycle at Boeing. He consistently relies on design
as an enabler to look beyond convention and find significant opportunities to
affect company culture.
Other work at Boeing includes systems engineering and development of machine learning capabilities to improve manufacturing and design. He has experienced the factory floor, the development cycle, and strategic business initiatives across the enterprise.
Prior to Boeing, Oliver spent time as a business and brand strategy consultant developing disruptive business models and solutions to product challenges. He also spent several years as a visual communication professor and university administrator at BYU-Idaho. There he worked alongside experts in manufacturing and innovation to disrupt the higher education model.
Oliver has trained in Systems Engineering with Massachusetts Institute of Technology, holds a Master of Science degree in Creative Brand Management from the VCU Brandcenter in Richmond, Virginia, and a Bachelor degree in Graphic Design with a minor in Organizational Communication from Brigham Young University – Idaho.
