Priyanka Anand

Priyanka Anand is Vice President and Head of HR for South East Asia, Oceana and India at Ericsson. Having assumed the new role in January 2018, she is responsible for leading HR strategy across markets like India, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Philippines and Bangladesh. She brings to the role a vast experience from her 19-year career, of which more than 7 years have been with Ericsson.

Previously, she has been Vice President and Head of HR Global Operations from April 2014 till January 2018. From July 2010 to April 2014, she was Vice President and Head of HR at Ericsson Global Services, where she was pivotal in the growth of the organization from its establishment in India to an employee base of 15000.

In her current role she leads an HR team of 60 resources spread over more than 10 countries, driving HR strategy across the geography with around 9000 employees. She collaborates with business leaders in developing and implementing benchmark human resources practices that inspire employees to achieve outstanding business results. Previously, she has worked in Colt Technologies, Manpower and STG.

Priyanka has been a transformative leader with astute business acumen and strategic mindset. The key focus of her journey has been to turn talent management into an instrument to drive business transformation and strategy, as well as develop able leaders and transform culture.
