Vice President Partnerships Lean In

Archana Gilravi is the VP of Partnerships and Company Engagement at the Sheryl Sandberg & Dave Goldberg Family Foundation, the nonprofit organization behind LeanIn.Org and OptionB.Org. The foundation supports a community of more than two million women and men in 172 countries and runs public awareness and education programs that reach millions of people each year.

Prior to this role, Archana spent over a decade leading Global Customer and Partner Success teams at Google & Medallia, a late stage, Sequoia - backed start-up focused on customer experience technology. Archana has been passionate about women’s leadership for many years. In 2015, she launched the Unstoppable Women Podcast, where she interviews women about their path to senior leadership. Archana also sits on the board of the Center for Creative Leadership.

Archana has an MBA from Wharton and a BA in Economics from Wellesley College.

9:10 AM Workshop: 50 Ways to Fight Bias

Gender bias is holding women back in the workplace. Whether deliberate or unconscious, bias makes it harder for women to get hired and promoted and negatively impacts their day-to-day work experiences. This hurts women and makes it difficult for companies to level the playing field.

This workshop is a hands-on activity that will highlight specific examples of gender bias in the workplace and offers research-backed recommendations for what to do.

  • Companies with more women in leadership roles perform better, and employees on diverse and inclusive teams put in more effort, stay longer, and demonstrate more commitment
