Jojo is a seasoned professional with more than 22 years of experience in the practice of human capital management and organisation development.  His expertise is in setting up human resource management systems, change management, strategic planning, compensation development, competency development, culture building, policy development, coaching and mentoring, job evaluation, and talent development to name a few. He is a local and international human resource and organisation development practitioner & consultant. Jojo is currently the Vice President for Human Resources and Organization Development of the largest Coal Mining and vertically integrated Power Company in the Philippines, Semirara Mining and Power Corporation.

He is a Certified Human Capital Strategist (Human Capital Institute -USA), Certified Industrial Organizational Psychologist (Psychological Association of the Philippines-PAP), Certified DDI Interaction Management Facilitator (Development Dimensions Inc.-DDI), Certified Life Coach (New Skills Academy, USA) Registered Psychologist (Psychological Association of the Philippines-PAP), and Registered Psychometrician (Psychological Association of the Philippines - PAP).

Jojo is a recipient of the Philippines Most Talented HR Leader 2018 awarded by the World HRD Congress at the Dusit Thani Hotel, Manila (June 8, 2018) and was also a recipient of the 100 Most Influential Global HR Leader - 2017 awarded by World HR Congress in Mumbai, India (February 15, 2017). 

He is a Bachelor of Science in Psychology graduate, with Master in Business Administration (MBA) major in International Business Management and Master of Arts major in Clinical Psychology post graduate degrees and a candidate for the degree of Doctor in Philosophy major in Organization Development.
