Ashley Heis

As Director, Global Learning for American Airlines, Ashley oversees enterprise-wide learning, appreciation and talent development, as well as company-wide culture initiatives. A former Southern Methodist University soccer player with a B.S. Mechanical Engineering degree, Ashley spent five years with Texas Instruments and joined American in 2009, after an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas. Her passion for travel and people, and her desire to make a positive impact in the world is evident through her ongoing history of inspiring others, partnering for success and delivering results. She loves spending time with her husband and kids, be it over s’mores, basketball or a flight to the beach; other favorites are serving non-profits and live music.
