MGM Resorts, P.F. Chang’s, University of Arizona representatives speaking at CHRO Exchange Nov. 12

TAMPA, Fla. – Three global leaders in the Human Resources field, from both industry and academia, were recently announced as speakers at IQPC's CHRO Exchange in Arizona, Nov. 12-14.

Michelle DiTondo, Chief Human Resources Officer for MGM Resorts International; Michael Keane, Chief Administrative Officer and CHRO for P.F. Chang’s; and Allison M. Vaillancourt, Ph.D., VP of Business Affairs and Human Resources for University of Arizona, will all lead session during the event.

DiTondo is currently leading culture transformation and initiatives in employee engagement, internal branding, and talent management for the MGM Resorts' 77,000 employees. The company is a global leader in hospitality and gaming, operating a portfolio of 19 destination resorts including Bellagio, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, MGM National Harbor and Borgata. Prior to assuming this role, DiTondo was the Vice President of Human Resources for Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino and Vice President of Human Resources for New York-New York Hotel & Casino, overseeing all human resources functions at each property.  She joined the company in 2006, and her background includes more than 25 years of human resources leadership experience.

DiTondo will lead the event’s opening keynote: Transforming Culture by Delivering On Brand Promise from the Outside In.

As CAO for P.F. Chang’s, a leader in the restaurant industry, Keane is accountable for the human resources, operations services, and off-premises dining teams. A billion-dollar brand with more than 200 restaurants across the country, P.F. Chang’s is a household name with a unique “Farm to Wok” approach that has been the brand’s food philosophy since the day it launched.

Keane’s HR career spans over 25 years, with experience in a variety of consumer industries. Prior to joining PF Chang’s, he spent 14 years leading HR teams in the specialty retail world including Express, Tween Brands and Victoria’s Secret. Keane has also held HR and marketing roles at Whirlpool Corporation, Borden Foods and Limited Brands. In addition to HR, Keane at various times had accountability for store operations, loss prevention, procurement and legal functions.

Keane will present: Infusing the Business Agenda with a Human-Centered Strategic Mentality – Building a Culture of Impact at P.F. Chang’s.

Under Vaillancourt’s guidance, the University of Arizona has been nationally recognized for building a community of leaders, creating an inclusive organizational culture, offering award-winning work-life balance programs, and harnessing the wisdom of faculty, staff, students and community members to inform policies, programs and administrative initiatives. She writes about career and organizational culture issues as a regular Chronicle of Higher Education contributor, and currently serves on the Association of American Universities Human Resources Institute’s board of directors, College and University Professional Association for Human Resources' (CUPA-HR) National Public Policy committee, and Western Association of College and University Business Officers' Business Management Institute faculty. She is also a past national chair of CUPA-HR's national board of directors and past president of the Society for Human Resources Management of Greater Tucson.

Vaillancourt will moderate a roundtable: Championing Change in Times of Rapid Disruption.
