Talent acquisition is changing, and HR must change with it. In the process, TA costs have jumped by 26% over the last few years according to Gartner. How does HR respond to the shifting balance of power as it moves away from the employer to the candidate?

Cathy Henesey is the director of Talent Acquisition for AdventHealth. In her Talent Exchange Live presentation entitled How the Candidate Experience Drives Talent Acquisition, Henesey named a series of practices that will help increase the quality of the CX. One thing she mentioned specifically is the need to communicate with candidates as soon as and as often as possible. For instance, if a candidate is rejected they need to know within seven days. Waiting much longer than that can negatively impact the candidate experience.
