I am a contractor who was placed on a project through a staffing agency. I was not aware of the non-business like way that company conducted their operations and it is a constant hassle to get information from them, and always have problems with payments. My contract got extended for a few more month and i was wondering if it is even possible as a contractor to talkt to the HR department of the company in views of a deal that could be worked. I was thinking the i could be paid directly from the company and i not received any benefits, my status would stay the same but at least i know i would be paid for the hours worked anod not have to be worried all the time. I s that even possible to do?
