John Lawrence is one of the founding members in General Electric’s first HR Reporting & Analytics CoE and the techno-functional product owner to the web interface of the second largest people database in the world.  With a diverse background in business, sales, marketing, psychology, user experience, human resources, information technology and the law, John acts as connector of data-to-data, data-to-people, and people-to-people to link disparate processes and functions to find hidden patterns in data to transform information into insights using data analysis and visualization tools to help tell GE's story to drive effective change that impacts the bottom line. 

 

John has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, a MBA in Marketing and Management, and completed coursework toward a Doctorate degree in Computing, John’s mix of classes at university was modeled into a new Bachelor’s degree concentration and his work in sales was turned into an interactive, intelligent sales and marketing software application. He has contributed to several internationally published comic books/graphic novels and is the co-author of a journal article on deep learning as well as a presentation for the nation’s top law enforcement leaders that was introduced by Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano at Harvard Law School. John currently resides in upstate NY.
