Shalini Prasad

Shalini joined Maersk in 2015 as Head of HR in Group Procurement, Mumbai India, supporting teams across India – Philippines – Denmark and moved to Singapore two years back as HRBP for Operations for SEA and OCE. She has recently moved to a new role as Head of HR Effectiveness for Asia Pacific.

She started career as an electrical engineer, leading a team of technical professionals. This phase helped her realise her passion, leading to pursuing HR MBA from XLRI, India. Shalini has experience in diverse industries (Services-Energy-Logistics & Transportation); primarily in the areas of LnOD, Engagement, HRBP, Transition, Change Management.  

Throughout her career, within or outside HR, Shalini has had a focus on developing and growing talent and supporting business with the talent decisions.

Outside work; Shalini likes travelling, being with her daughter, celebrating the rich Indian heritage and reading.
