I am an assistant manager in a retail store.
It has been discovered that our general manager has had an intimate relationship with one our lead associates (manger in training).
The entire staff has learned of this from outside sources of friends connected to the individuals involved, but had had suspicions of the relationship based on the fact that the lead associate has received preferential treatment from the general manager.
What is the proper course of action that I should take?
The entire staff is resentful and have threatened to take drastic action in contacting our district manager and human resources.
