I am in retail and I asked for vacation time in November. I was told I would have to "e;elect to terminate"e; and see if my job is still available 2 weeks later (when I return- not likely during the holidays). I have the vacation time saved from over a year. Can I be FORCED to quit? Wouldn't they legally have to terminate me so I can collect unemployment?
