A friend of mine needs advice.
After 4 years of working, a CEO decides to cold storage a Group HR Director by stopping her bonus and increment because she had not brought improvement to a subsidiary business unit. She claimed unfairness in holding her accountable over something beyond her formal authority and influence, more so when the GM of the unit was a narcissist who overuled her advices and ignored her guidance. The CEO had asked if she would consider a mutual separation deal. She turned it down, knowing it is financially insufficient, given that she is unlikely to secure a job at her age 52 and in current difficult times.
Any advice?
