I have been sent a job offer. The offer states 'this is to offer you an Assistant Product Manager' position. Catch is, I applied for a full Product Manager position. During my conversation with the VP who extended the job offer I was told that my responsibilities would be that of a full Product Manager, however my title and this offer would be listed in my file as an Assistant Product Manager. I have not been given a job description of an Assistant Product Manager, just the full Product Manager position. Basically I look at this as officially I'd be an Assistant Product Manager, unofficially I'm really a Product Manager. Is this common practice? Are my concerns valid? Thanks, PJMINNC
