i recently handed my notice in at work because of working conditions,a couple of days later i asked to retract it and was called in for a chat with the manager because of me being off on holiday,we had a talk and i was told i could retract it the next day she spoke to the regional manager who said i couldnt retract it coz she had already filled the position,i was not contacted when i handed it in to give me a colling off period is this right that they can do this?
