I was just recently moved from being a field technician to an in-office data analyst, a title I am more than qualified for. Can I ask for the pay increase that I know is associated with being an analyst? I was told by a coworker that I would have to wait until our annual reviews in March before anything would change as far as title/pay. Is it normal to have a change of title and duties and then have to wait several months for an annual review to receive the compensation for the new title?
