I work at a 100 employee private company in Ohio. We have multiple departments and recently one department (25 employees) implemented an attendance policy that is very strict in terms of tardies and absences..but this same policy does not apply to other departments. Is it legal to fire me for tardies and absences while other employees in other departments are not held to same standard. How can one department be singled out for this policy that does not apply to the other 75 employees of the same company.
