We have some employees’, who work 4 day work weeks, which we give vacation and sick time. We also give floating holidays in lieu of MLK day and Patriots Day. My question is this individual works M-Th. Where July 3rd is a Friday and is our holiday for July 4th. What kind of policy should we put in place, as I know companies vary in HR rules. Could he take the holiday on Monday due to the fact that he works M – Th?
