The economy is forcing us to tighten our spending and that means cutting some important positions. We have given alot of thought to the process. We believe we can sucessfully restructure by elimination - layoff of one person and add work to another employee that has lost some of his work to downsizing. We just want to be respectful to the person we are letting go and do it CORRECTLY. Thanks for your advice.
