Is it ethical to require a subordinate to fill out one supervisor's time sheet for him/her (not signing it) even though they are not required to do this for other supervisors in the same department? We are uncomfortable with this even though the supervisor is exempt and the staff person does not sign for them. We feel it is far beyond the job description requirements and intrinsically unfair to the staff person since if any issues arise, the supervisor has a convenient "e;scapegoat"e;.
