My company allows the hourly employees to take a half day (4 hours paid time off) if they come in on time for 4 weeks straight. On payroll I am currently coding it as Award Hours since they are getting paid and they are not here on site. My owner wants to know why we can't just code it under "e;regular hours"e; instead of "e;Award Hours."e; I know there is a reason, but I can't remember why. Please help!
