My company allows the hourly employees to take a half day (4 hours paid time off) if they come in on time for 4 weeks straight. On payroll I am currently coding it as Award Hours since they are getting paid and they are not here on site. My owner wants to know why we can't just code it under &quote;regular hours&quote; instead of &quote;Award Hours.&quote; I know there is a reason, but I can't remember why. Please help!
