Human Resources leaders are confronted with many challenges as they manage young talent. While each individual is unique, some conclusions can be drawn from the shared experiences of growing up together in a certain era. Certainly, younger, tech savvy workers have been going viral on social media platforms like TikTok and YouTube with their complaints about employers. You might have heard about quiet quitting, rage applying, and bare minimum Mondays. At the same time, older generations, who tend to lead organizations, perceive Gen Z and Millennials as entitled and lazy.

In this conversation, HR influencers will discuss their perspective on work, how and where we do it, what it should entail, and when to draw the line. They will reveal truths about how their generations relate to their workplace, managers, and leaders. They will explore myths and manifestos associated with their generation, and explain why we have experienced these TikTok critiques of employers – and what this really means for the future of work. We hope you’ll join with your questions and comments during this interactive discussion. Truth seekers, this one is for you!

Participate for free to explore:

  • Whether the younger generation is lazy or just committed to work-life balance
  • How different generations in the workplace overcome their different perspectives
  • What younger generations are looking for from employers
  • Why disengagement – or at least the perception of disengagement – is pervasive among young workers
