A recent Bersin survey pointed out that just 28 percent of organizations have "good" or "very good" levels of proficiency in basic data literacy skills. And that makes sense, because it often feels like you need a statistics degree to understand HR analytics. But the truth is, you don't need a degree. You just need to know what to look for and how to turn that into meaningful conclusions. Through this webinar, Degreed data scientist Marissa Saunders will help you understand the connection between data and learning, including important learning analytics to look for and how to draw insights from data sets.
Presenters:
Marissa is a data scientist at Degreed where she focuses on using machine learning to help individuals navigate the landscape of skills, learning, and career development more efficiently. Previously, Marissa worked as a big data / data science consultant and, as a post-doc, used data analytics, engineering, and machine learning skills to understand biochemical processes. She’s a recovering academic, with a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Chicago.
