We have an employee that was laid off a few months ago. She had ordered some items from a business to business company (LTD Commodities) for her personal use but on the companies "e;account"e; with LTD. She did not pay for the items and now LTD is looking for payment. We had allowed employees to do this in the past and the invoices had always been paid by the employee-we never had an issue with late payments or non payments. We did not realize our employee had an outstanding balance with LTD at the time she was laid off. LTD is now looking for payment either from us or for us to provide the home address of the employee who made the purchase and owes the money. Can we legally provide the employee's home address information to the company?
