TAMPA, Fla. — The U.S. Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics released its Employment Situation Summary today, and the numbers for August are lower than expected.156,000 jobs were added in August, which is lower than the 170,000 to 180,000 most analysts had predicted.
