HR Today is joined by Susan Strayer from Marriott Hotels and David Kippen of Evviva. Susan is the Senior Director of Global Employer Brand and Marketing for Marriott Hotels International. David is the CEO of Evviva Brands, the firm that developed the Facebook game "My Marriott Hotel."

Marriott Hotels is looking to hire 50,000 new employees by the end of 2011. How will they tackle this challenge? Well, for starters, they’ve taken a cue from CityVille and FarmVille and have developed a strategy to generate interest in their employer brand through the use of social gaming. "My Marriott Hotel" is a game on Marriott Careers’ Facebook page and gives gamers a taste of what it’s like to work in one of many career lines of the hotel chain.

Susan and David talk about how social gaming is one tool that can help brand your company as a great place to work.
