I am creating a reduction in force process for my employer and need to know if there are any toolkits to help me draft a process from scratch. Also, need to know if when you have the RIF meeting with an employee is it a best practice to make the separation effective immediately or is the trend more to give them notice of when their last day will be? Any help you can provide to assist me would be very much appreciated.
