I am seeking advise from recruitment consultants or hiring managers.
With over 9 years of professional experience as an HR/Payroll Administrator and SAP HR Analyst, I decided to take my skills and experience abroad. To achieve the same professional role in Europe as I had in North America, I realized that it would be necessary to develop my linguistic skills (German)to compete in the local market. However, it now appears that an additional 6 months is required.
My question is whether or not to commit for another 6 months or whether to consider returning to North America. Too long a gap on a resume, I expect, may not be desirable to a recruitment consultant or hiring manager.
