I am wondering.. we have a problem employee that was injured at home over the weekend while intoxicated. He broke some bones and is going to be unable to work for quite some time. This is our busy season, and we really need the help. Do we have to hold the job for him while he heals up, or can we let him go and fill his position with a new employee? Would we have to pay unemployment for the problem employee?
