I gave my letter of resignation on November 17th. I let them know that I will stay until December 17th but I only needed to give them two weeks, but I thought I would be nice and give them more notice due to the holiday season but if they wanted me to just stay two weeks, that is fine too. Instead, they told me that my last day was to be November 25th due to the Thanksgiving holiday schedule (we had off Thursday November 26th and Friday November 27th). I was told that is technically 2 weeks. I was shocked. Felt almost pushed out because they didn't tell me that I was going to have my last day on November 25th until 5 days prior. Does this all make sense? Was I forced out or is THIS TECHNICALLY TWO WEEKS??? I feel forced and rushed out by supervisor. Please I need help with this. Building case....
