I had been a software engineer / database professional for 6 years or so before I switched gears and stepped into a professional service role doing project management and resource management for consulting company, because I wanted to takeup a management role. after a year or so I realized, it was too functional for me and I decided to quit ofcouse with out burning any bridges.
Now I want to get back to technical field but no success so far.
What can I do to get myself back into the game? I have been looking for a job for past 4 months.
