I was recently forced to go home from my new employer of only 8 days. I was not feeling well. I stated my blood pressure may be causing me to feel only about 75%. Later,they called me & said I had to go home now and a packet was put in the mail for me to take to my Doctor and I could not return to work until cleared by my Doctor. I was hired as a salaried store manager. My questions are...can they do that? Do I get paid while off? Can I lose my job?
Another question.
I had a two week training period that had a schedule that was supposed to be followed to the letter. After my first week the training scheduled was all but forgotten about. They told me we could not deviate from the training schedule and on the monday of the second week I was not going by the schedule and they had me on other tasks since they all were so far behind.
