I work for a company and the branch I work in is relatively new. Our branch manager has his brother and father working here. He recently has his step mom coming in (she works for a different company)to try and get the office running smoother. Just this morning we were handed paperwork that has personal information including SSN, DL, and bank account information. He is scanning these papers to his step mom. Is this legal? She does not work for a payroll company. I have no idea why she needs this information.
