I work for a Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia. Recently, I turned in my general manager for changing all of the employees timecards, which in turn, made it so that we were not being paid enough for what we worked. It is now two months later and I have been let go because my position was eliminated. However, there has been a new position created. I believe that I was let go because my manager had a vendetta against me. What are my chances of winning a case for more of severence pay than what I've been offered?
