We have a group of licensed nurses who are employed at our facility as managers and have exempt status. They are asking if they can work extra shifts on their off hours as staff nurses, and be paid not at overtime rate (since they are aware they are not eligible for overime), but would like to be paid at their regular hourly rate. Please advise if this is permissable.
