We've received two weeks notice from an employee. We have no assignments to fill this person's final days. When someone gives notice, is it possible to let them go earlier than the notice period or do they have to be paid for that full period? Does letting them go early change the status of the separation (in terms of being a voluntary resignation)? Thank you for any advice!
