My full time hours were cut back to near half without notice (called a layoff) and now 6 weeks later my director is ocvering my position while I am not there and her daughter is now on the payroll as support to my Director. I am now being told that my position is permanant part time. Do I have to stay working there or can I leave to find a full time job. I'm obviously being replaced. I was also asked to put a book of detailed instructions together for them on how to do my job. This was to be well on it's way by April 7th and on April 13th I was laid off. Can I get unemployment while I search for another job? What can I do? Thank you, Karen Goll
