An integrated performance framework is a clear set of interdependent steps and actions that consistently are taken day-in and day-out to improve performance.

Designing and implementing a performance framework can drive significantly favorable results for your organization. An integrated performance framework identifies the common areas that are most important for organizations to focus on versus just a few. Then it identifies key indications of success within those focus areas followed by metrics to track success and hold individuals accountable. This consistent path toward common focus areas creates a high performance culture, which leverages the productivity within your organization.

Ed Martinez, Vice President of Shared Services for Wendy’s/Arby’s Group discusses with Human Resources IQ, the components on an integrated performance framework and how it can significantly benefit your organization.

This discussion will include coverage in the following areas:

  1. A "partnership model" which creates cross-functional integration to drive success
  2. The performance model that creates a high performance culture which includes "many acting as one" towards common goals
  3. A balanced scorecard that identifies the "key focus areas" to measure and establish accountability
  4. Performance levers, or actions that management can take to help employees exceed expectations
