Exploring HR Shared Services Delivery Practices & Trends for 2011

Add bookmark

HR shared services is continuing to grow and expand as a mainstream delivery model for HR Services. Employee relations services in particular are becoming more commonplace, which can be interpreted as a testament to the model’s ability to execute.

In the coming years, growth may be expected in business segments, such as health care and services in general. Existing shared services organizations will continue to expand scope, taking on more of the delivery burden so as to further enable HR Transformation.

Whether HR shared services will continue to grow as a stand-alone HR function or as part of multi-function shared services is yet to be determined and will be an interesting trend to monitor as we look ahead.

Human Resources IQ speaks with Jim Scully, Founder of The Shared Services Institute, which led their 3rd annual HR Delivery Practice Survey.
