I have an employee on indefinite lay off. His medical/dental benefits have been discontinued through our company. His wife says she can put him on her insurance through her work however he would need to be terminated. I thought all he would need would be a letter stating that his medical/dental coverage has been discontinued at our company. DO WE HAVE TO TERMINATE IS EMPLOYMENT IN ORDER FOR HIM TO GET COVERAGE UNDER HIS WIFE'S POLICY? Thank you Gladys E Korzenborn
