If an employer gives an Employee Review and specifically states, that they want the employee to take initiative and learn about other areas of the company and then reprimands the employee for doing exactly what he was told to do, on his own time after his shift is over, what action should the employee take? Who should he talk to when he knows that the HR person, whom he and other employees have contacted in the past, has done everything he possible to sweep things under the rug, so to speak?
