Be Unstoppable at Work: Embrace Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X, and Boomers

Bring Out the Best in Those from Other Eras

This is an epic moment in history for many reasons, and it is impacting the global workforce. One of the reasons that Human Resources will look at this time period with awe will be the fact that four generations are at work simultaneously. Baby Boomers, who are loathe to retire, Gen X, who are often forgotten, Millennials, who are misunderstood, and Gen Z, who are newly minted employees, are all together.

Not surprisingly, having these different age groups at work is causing some tension. Human Resources professionals can help people get along better, understand each other, and pursue a common mission. It's about creating a positive culture and finding the strengths of each group. HR Thought Leader from Asia-Pacific Mofoluwaso "Fofo" Ilevbare and HR Exchange Network Editor Francesca "Fran" Di Meglio recently discussed why generations at work should be celebrated and embraced.

Watch this video of their conversation to learn:

  • How to bring out the best from those in different generations
  • How to help people better understand each other
